13. Replacing Pre Command in PGC 1
Just like step 10, we'll be doing more copying and pasting but with all PGC 1s pre command area.
a.
Starting with
again we
need to replace our Pre Command #1 like we did with our PGC 2 pre command in
previous page. Every PGC 1 at this point has only one pre command.
They should also be the same,
. We
don't need this. So first, highlight the hex values below.
{00 A1 00 01 00 01 00 03}
{00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00}
{71 05 00 01 00 00 00 01}
b. Shift+C (Copy)
c. Select Pre command #1 with a single left click.
.
d. Shift+V (Paste).
And now you have a new Pre Command template, exactly as below, to work with.
14. Repeat Step 13 for remaining PGC 1s. You don't need to do the last PGC.
15. Testing Previous Chapter button
At this point, you can actually save your DVD, Ctrl+S, and test your remote's Previous Chapter button in your software player.
If you tried your test, you found right away that when you chapter skip from Chapter 1 of Title 2 to Title 1, you would be seeing Chapter 1 of Title 1 instead. (See Current illustration below). That's because of your LinkPTT (Part of Titleset Title or Chapter) command in your Title's Pre command area now. Since it's Title 1's Pre command, it means to jump to Chapter 1 of this Title.
What we really want is to jump to our last chapter (Goal).
Current Our Goal
But if you really want this setup of jumping to your previous title's first chapter, you can actually stop here and you are finished. Pages 5 and 6 are used if you want to jump to the last chapter.
