Neutrophils are 9-14 micrometres in diameter, 40-75% of WBCs in a blood smear; 2. they have a segmented or lobed nucleus; 3. cytoplasm has granules (0.1-0.4 um) that stain variably - light blue, azure, violet; 4. the arrow is pointing to a "drumstick formation" - inactive female X chromosome; 5.
