Default Settings:
3. Text


TextColor: Color when adding texts or buttons. Click in the blue square to get a standard color selection window.
Alignment: May be set to Left/Center/Right. Effects only text/buttons with multiple lines or text/buttons with fixed size.
Font: Character font, which is used when adding texts or buttons by default. May be changed with a click on the [T] button.

Since version 0.99.28 you may use some simple text effects for free added text (Labels, not Buttons):
Text Effect Shadow
Here the text is drawn with variable transparency in black (depending on the transparency rather gray) at the given offset  (X-Offset/Y-Offset in pixel) behind the 'real' text. This effect is only visible in the preview and on the final DVD of cause.
Transparency: 0 (full black) to 99 (full transparent=not visible) Default=50
X-Offset: Displacement in X-direction (in pixel). Positive values mean 'right', negative 'left'
Y-Offset: Displacement in Y-direction (in pixel). Positive values mean 'down', negative 'up'
Use shadow effect by default: Automatically set the shadow effect (with the given values) for all new added text labels.
You may switch on or off the shadow effect for each text label individually. See TextDialog

Text Effect Block: 3D Effekt
Here the text is drawn with variable brightness (same color as the text) to the given offset (X-Offset/Y-Offset in pixel) behind the 'real' text. This effect is only visible in the preview and on the final DVD of cause.
Brightness: 0 (full black) to 99 (same color and brightness as the text label itself) Default=50
X-Offset: Displacement in X-direction (in pixel). Positive values mean 'right', negative 'left'
Y-Offset: Displacement in Y-direction (in pixel). Positive values mean 'down', negative 'up'
Use block effect by default: Automatically set the block effect (with the given values) for all new added text labels.
You may switch on or off the block effect for each text label individually. See TextDialog

Text Effect Outline:
Here the text is drawn with variable color at one pixel offset in all directions behind the 'real' text. This effect is only visible in the preview and on the final DVD of cause. The Outline effect may be used for buttons also.
Default Outline color: Color for the outline. Click in the black square to get a standard color selection window. This is only a default value. You may change the outline color for each text label individually
Use outline effect by default: Automatically set the outline effect (with the given color) for all new added text labels.
You may switch on or off the outline effect for each text label individually. See TextDialog

You may also combine effects: Block + Shadow or Ouline + Shadow (use a higher value for the X/Y-offsets for shadow). The effects Block and Outline cannot be combined (neither with or without shadow).
